I’m not a big fan of the premise here. The “escape into the psyche” angle…
But this *looks* great. And with Zack Snyder directing? Yeah. I’ll search this one out on DVD…. (Hardly ever see anything at the theaters anymore.)

I can’t think of any other role that has been as iconic in 2 completely different performances as the Joker.
Before Dark Knight, I would have said that Nicholson’s portrayal is THE be-all, end-all for that character. But then Ledger knocked it out of the park. In an entirely different way….

Gonna have to file this one under “Undecided”. Looks like it has potential, but I’m not sure I’m going to like the changes in the franchise.
