So, I’ve see that there are a group of Browncoats that are pointing to the Arrested Development new and saying, “Why not Firefly?”

And there’s a point there. I love both shows, but we have to realize what we’re dealing with here. TV and Movie Execs. And all they see is that AD had some numbers when it was on, Firefly really didn’t. And the big boys in the movie industry have been sold on the AD movie, which means they think the series is going to sell movie tickets. (All of this sucks. Yes.)

The other thing is: where is Joss on this? Didn’t Doctor Horrible prove that you don’t HAVE to go through the “system” to get a show done?
